My order was delivered ahead of the scheduled delivery date and the product is amazing.

Goods were quality and pricing was fair for the outdoor lights that I bought.


Delivery was swift, but the presentations and packaging of the items was terrible – almost dangerous; the box was half open and kept together with cello tape. The contents were not secured with bubble wrap to prevent damage. The items were a bit dirty with brown fingerprint marks all over almost like I was sold demo items.

I was happy with speedy delivery but I was not contacted before the delivery as I had requested. There are lot of cases of criminals posing as delivery people fooling our domestic workers so Im very strict that she only opens for deliveries I had asked her to expect. Please call me next time

Just a quick compliment to The Lighting Warehouse for a brilliant service, from the distribution outlet in Malibongwe (opposite Home Affairs) to the Head office, they assisted in solving our problem with light fitting. The job was done swiftly and efficiently. The company is certainly to be recommended. The service like that is the reason that we have been patronizing them for 25 years and will continue to do so. It was my first time buying on line from The Lighting Warehouse and what a great experience it was. The lamps are of great value, I saved R1600+by buying directly from you and the delivery was within a week, I live in the countryside. I am telling everyone I know about The Lighting Warehouse so that they can save. The courier guy from Skynet was very kind and helpful, unfortunately I did not get his name.

1. 2x of the LED Tubes were shattered when they arrived at my house (probably happened in delivering it to me.

2. All the Tubes are warm white and not “COOL WHITE” as I ordered them.

I ordered one of your Bertie Lamps which was on a Black Friday special. It arrived damaged. The box was damaged and when I opened up the lamp to check, I found it was damaged to. The base of the lamp has three large dents in it. That means it was bashed or dropped badly at least three times. I need to return this lamp. I purchased the same Bertie desk lamp a few months ago, in a different colour and it also arrived damaged and not in an acceptable state. I had to return it as well. Your delivery service needs be to able to deliver products without damaging them. I have stopped using other services like Takealot for the same reasons. You have a good selection of lights and some friendly staff but you need better policies and checks in place to deliver safely.

I was initially hesitant as online shopping and fragile items on top of it…yes, scary thoughts.

However, I found what I liked and decided to order it.

5 – 7 days I was informed. Settling in to wait for the period, I was highly surprised to receive the package 2 days later.

I would definitely make use of The Lighting Warehouse again and recommend it to other people.

The service was great and quick however the poor delivery guy actually asked me to leave a comment saying he has to call each person as the addresses on the parcels is always double and never shows an area. Perhaps make it easier for them giving them complete addresses.
