Bobby is a certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 2nd Degree Black Belt under Master Roberto Atalla (4th degree), and a member of Rio Grappling Club. He has also been training in martial arts since 1992 focusing on Mixed Martial Arts since 1999, competing internationally and nationally in Mixed Martial Arts and kickboxing events. We have different classes to suit the individual, with different levels of experience and intensity. However, all classes are a tough workout as well as very technical. All MMA, BJJ and Kids classes are personally run by Bobby. The classes are designed to take you from being a total beginner to a competent Mixed Martial Artist. Learn all the basics in the intro class and work your way up to full MMA in the advanced class. As well as mixed martial arts training Bobby also teaches a specialized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class in Johannesburg. EFC Heavyweight contender Andrew 'One Gear' van Zyl trains at BJMMA under Bobby. However, at BJMMA we cater for the all levels. Whether you are the average guy that wants to train for fitness, self-defense and personal growth, or you'd like to be a competitive fighter. We have separate classes to suit you and your goals. Jeni has been training in martial arts since 1993 moving to Mixed Martial Arts and Kickboxing in 1999. She has been teaching Ladies Kickboxing since then. Her classes involve authentic kickboxing training and techniques without the sparring. The classes include punching and kicking bags, push-ups, ab work as well as leg toning exercises giving you a full body workout. She has a passion and energy for the sport second to none. This passion comes out in every class she has.
