Intro Lessons are a great way to get a taste of Archery. These lessons are once-off, no commitment is required.

In an Intro Lesson, our experienced & qualified coaches will take you through the range safety procedure, how to handle the equipment correctly, and of course how to shoot a bow effectively. While there is a bit of theory involved, there will also be plenty of time to shoot some arrows downrange, which we know is what you are really coming for!

You can enrol into our beginner lessons after you have attended an intro lesson.

Booking is essential: Only 10 slots per lesson are available per class.

All participants will need to complete an Indemnity Form on arrival. Under 18’s will need to have a parent or legal guardian complete the indemnity form on their behalf. To save time you may download the indemnity form, complete it in advance and bring it with you.

Intro Lessons can also be done in private lesson format. Contact us for availability and to make booking.

Enrol into a particular timeslot and attend that class every week.

Please note that you are required to attend a once-off intro lesson before joining any of our beginner classes.

For those who prefer a more hands-on approach or need some special attention from a coach.

Private lessons are billed per 50 min session and can be booked on Tuesday through to Saturday.

Membership is available to archers that have graduated from the beginner programme or have equivalent experience. All club members automatically get 10%-off all training tuition fees. Membership allows for unlimited access to the archery range and affiliation with the relevant provincial & national archery associations.

The South African National Archery Association (SANAA) was formed in 1948 by a group of enthusiastic archers. Today, it is the National Federation for all amateur archery in South Africa and is the national governing body of the sport.


SANAA offers its members the opportunity to participate in all disciplines and it recognises both the World Archery Federation and the International Field Archery Association disciplines. In so doing, members can decide which discipline they are more comfortable with and have the opportunity to compete in target, field, 3D, indoor and outdoor events that are sanctioned by World Archery and / or SANAA using the compound, recurve or barebow.
