Linda is a registered clinical psychologist, a writer and mental health advocate whose “ikigai” is to help people live more connected and relational lives. Over the past 24 years, she has divided her time between clinical practice and strategic human capital management. In the corporate setting Linda has held Executive Human Resource roles in JSE listed companies in the financial services. As a psychologist in private practice, she is also a certified relationship therapist working with couples and families. Her treatment modalities are influenced by Imago Therapy, Relational Life Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural therapy. Her ability to manage the space between individuals and facilitate the repair process between partners is one of her key strengths. Additionally, her experience as a previous Human Capital executive enables her understanding of the impact of work on relationships thus offering a more holistic view of the human beings she works with.


As a mental health advocate, Linda co-owns a Human Centred Digital platform called The Space Between Us. The platform’s purpose is to connect people meaningfully with pre-emptive mental wellness tools that are in tune with the African psyche.

Linda has been practicing Bickrum Yoga for the past 15 years and finds solace in reading and writing articles. She is also a keen walker and boxer. Linda has been married to Mzila for 25 years and they have two daughters aged 23 and 19. She believes in the sanctity of the family and all types of committed relationships being key to holding our society together.


She holds a BA Honours in Psychology and Anthropology from Wits University, an MA Clinical Psychology from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal, and a certificate in Business Strategy for HR Leaders from Insead Business School in France.
